Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic School enables all children to reach their full potential and future success by using their God given talents in the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Home And School Association

All parents of students attending St. Charles Borromeo School are members of the Home and School Association. Membership dues are $10.00 per family annually. An annual meeting is held in August in conjunction with Back to School Night and all parents are requested to attend.

Objectives:

• to help parents and teachers acquire an appreciation of the ideal of Catholic Education, and to encourage interest in and support of Catholic education in the diocese of Fort Wayne - South Bend

• to promote clearer understanding of the mutual educational responsibilities of parents and teachers

• to encourage close cooperation between parents/teachers in discharging their educational responsibilities

• to encourage high standards of home and community living as an aid to total educational influence on child growth and behavior

• to help parents reach Christian solutions to problems of child growth and development

2010 - 2011 HASA projects included:

Upgrade playground equipment and mulch

Sponsor turkey bingo

Assist with CardinalFest parish festival in September

Sponsor reception for Grandparents'/Special Persons' Day in November

Coordinate breakfast for spring Honors' Receptions in April

Sponsor used uniform sale at the end of the school year

Teacher Appreciation Committee sponsors several meals for school staff during the year

Annual magazine sales fundraiser

Monetary assistance with several field trips
