Basketball

CYO basketball is a winter sport at Saint Charles. Each grade 5^th through 8^th typically has both a boys and girls team. Tryouts for basketball immediately follow the end of fall sports, usually around late October. Teams compete against other CYO schools, with 7^th and 8^th playing public middle schools as well. Each team’s season concludes in early to mid February with a CYO tournament. Teams also compete in smaller “holiday” tournaments, held during Christmas break.
