IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER!

Friday, March 15 - Early Dismissal @ 12:30 p.m.  for Diocesan Curriculum Work Time

Dear Parents and Students - Happy March 1st! I hope your Lenten journey is going well! The 40 Hours of Devotion was a great success as the students and staff signed up for rotating prayer time throughout Monday and Tuesday. What a blessing to be able to take some quiet time before the Blessed Sacrament and talk to God just as we are reminded in James 4:8.

Come near to God and He will come near to you.
As we make the effort to come near to God, He promises to draw near to us. If we take the first step, God will do all the rest. We must trust God to meet us where we are at and provide everything we need.
Many thanks also to Sr. Genevieve for working with Fr. Patrick Mary to spend time speaking with our 6th-8th grade students during the school day. Fr. Patrick (Ryan Briscoe) is a graduate of our school, and it is always good for students to hear from someone who has sat in the same seats they are sitting in! We want our children to pray daily with open hearts and minds that God will reveal His plan - their vocation - to them and that they will have the strength to follow God’s plan.

One of our school parents could use a hand! I have attached a GoFundMe link  below on behalf of Mr. Cy Lyons, Father of Carter Lyons in grade 6. To quote from the page, “Mr. Lyons has been through the wringer the last few months and would rather be the one helping others than the one that is requesting help. He has the biggest heart and always puts the needs of others before his own. But right now, he needs our help. For those that don’t know, Cy was diagnosed with Covid near the end of November. Due to his MS he had a lot of complications (liver/kidney struggles, pneumonia, intubation, bleeding ulcers, seizures, trach put in and unable to talk, feeding tube, etc…) and had a 5 week stay in the medical ICU at Parkview . . .” You can read more on the site and I am sure that daily prayers would be appreciated.  https://gofund.me/0ec80fe2.
