Dear Parents and Students - I hope you are well! This will be a short week due to our Labor Day celebration on Monday and Diocesan Teacher Inservice Days on Thursday and Friday. The schedule is below for pasting on the fridge. Thank you for a great first month of school! Get to Mass this weekend and enjoy Labor Day. Thank you for your children! Sincerely - Rob S.

Monday, September 4th: No School Labor Day
Tuesday, September 5th: Full Day of School
Wednesday, September 6: One-Hour Delay Classes begin at 8:50 a.m. &  end at 3:00 p.m.
Thursday, September 7: No School Catholic School Mission Day for All Diocesan Teachers
Friday, September 8: No School Diocesan Curriculum Day for all Diocesan Teachers

Sunday, September 10: Msgr. John Memorial 5K More details below. CardinalFest wraps up with 5K at noon

WE NEED YOU!!!  Cardinal Fest is not possible without your help! We have many opportunities for adults and kiddos (service hours) to volunteer their time. Adults are needed for chaperoning, inflatables, monetary transactions, food/drink service, carnival games, and more!!! Kiddos can assist with cleaning, restocking, and game assistance. Cardinal Fest: Monsignor John Memorial 5K  Fellowship and exercise? Yes, please! Join us for the annual Monsignor John Memorial 5K Walk and Run on Sunday, September 10th, starting at Noon! Online and downloadable registration  forms can be found at www.cardinalfest.com! Be at the starting line when Father Tom and Principal Sordelet kick off the race! And don't forget the kiddos - a free Kids' Fun Run will be held prior to the 5K! 

Pre-order Carnival Wristbands & Tickets!  Cardinal Fest is fast approaching -- Sept 7, 9, & 10th! Remember to SAVE $$$ and pre-order carnival wristbands and tickets, using the attached info on this Newsletter! Display yard signs and decals and earn your children dress down days!! 
Thank you for sending in your photos of students standing near your St. Charles School yard signs and/or car decals. These signs & decals are provided at no cost to families from your Home and School Association.
We had the “yard sign” dress down day this past week and will have another dress day on Monday, September 11th for the “decal”. Thanks for supporting our school and thank you for showing such strong school spirit.
