Friendzy vol. 3, unit 1

Dear Parents and Students - Here is a kind message of ‘Thank You’ from our Fantastic Cardinal Fest Committee!
A sincere THANK YOU to EVERYONE who participated in, volunteered for, and donated to Cardinal Fest 2023! Fellowship, fun, and smiles were plentiful throughout the events!
Cardinal Fest would not have been possible without our countless volunteers, parents, students, school faculty & staff, parish office staff, administration, priests, security, and maintenance staff. Special appreciation to Sr. Genevieve Raupp, (the best bingo caller around!), the handiwork of the St. Charles Boy Scouts, the numerous efforts of Knights Columbus Council 451, and the charitable donation of the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Fort Wayne.
An incredibly special thank you to our very generous sponsors, including:
Gold Sponsor: Guadalupe's Mexican Grill. Silver Sponsors: Bobilya Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, State Farm with Chase Darling, Hylant, and Salvatori's. Beer Tent Sponsors: NorthEast Chiropractic Center, Coco+Ash Salon, Kelley Automotive Group, and Reilley Trucking Inc.
Festival Partners: Distinctive Outdoor Designs, East State Veterinary Clinic Inc, Flawless+Hep.Cat Boutique, & Madi's Crafty Creations
Food Vendor Partners: Kona Ice, Northwood Pizza Hut, Chick-Fil-A Coliseum Blvd, Matt's Hitchin' Kitchen, Polar Ice Inc,  Jeff's Coney
A Superstar Volunteer Shout-out to the following people, who worked tirelessly and energetically throughout the events: Eric Ade, Keith Heimann, Jeff Hoffman, Jared Hoy, Chris Kaufman, Jordan McClead, Adam Osenga, Justin Parker, and Mike Ripley.
Finally, much appreciation to the Cardinal Fest Committee
Amy Bobilya, Sarah Ealing, Kim Hoffman, Stephanie Keefer, Karen Koester, Amanda Osenga, Emily Parker, Stacey Strack, and Christina Wulpi -- and endless gratitude to Committee Alums Katie Steigmeyer, Kate Sweigert, and Bonny Birely for their precious time!

Mark your calendars now! Next year's Cardinal Fest Saturday, September 7, 2024 – look forward to seeing everyone!!!

All are welcome to attend Mass with our Students throughout the school year! Our students celebrate weekday Mass at 8:15 a.m. on Monday (gr. 1,2) Tuesday (gr. 3,4,5) Thursday (gr.6,7,8) & Friday (All-school Mass). Come and sing and pray with our school community throughout the school year! Our School Staff and Students love to have you with us!
In closing, in this second year of Eucharistic Revival in the Church, I again encourage everyone to stop in for five or ten minutes of prayer at our Chapel or Church, or at any other Catholic Chapel or Church near you, taking time to be in the presence of the Eucharist, whether in exposition or in the tabernacle proper, once or twice a month.  I suggest beginning prayer with thoughts of each member of your immediate family and then spiral out to extended family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, parishioners and so on. I recently lost an Aunt, by marriage, Sr. Rita Claire, who kindly prayed for me by name every day. Although I am confident that she is still putting in a good word, it was reassuring to know that someone was praying on my behalf each day. I need all the prayers I can get LOL. Have a nice weekend with your families. Make it to Church. Enjoy some of the better weather of the year. Thank you. Sincerely - Rob S.
